Ian Cartalaba’s Guhit-Hiwaga Workshop teaches us the enchanting art through intuition, allowing the participants into something unexpected. The art workshop transforms imagination into reality. Providing free expression art to create a connection between the audience and the artwork.
As a form of therapeutic art, the workshop also teaches self-expression, allowing emotions, beliefs, and personal reflections to emerge through creativity. This reminds us that art has the power to heal, inspire, and create meaningful connections between the artist, the artwork, and those who experience it.

Experience Hiwaga ng Diwata: An Exploration of Philippine Cosmology and Visual Identity—the first solo exhibition by Ian Cartalaba.

Drawing from Filipino folklore, the exhibition reimagines the Diwata through its indigenous roots. Using traditional materials and motifs, Cartalaba challenges colonial interpretations and reconnects the Diwata with its native origins.
