To allow the students to grasp the responsibility and dedication necessary in managing an interior design project, the capstone course, ID 179: Special Projects in Interior Design is annually carried out by the senior students of the UP BS Interior Design Program. This instills the understanding of their role as future professionals to understand the needs and extend their services especially to the underserved. The students from the BSID Class of 2020 will dedicate their service to the Kalinga Day Care Center, a learning institution dedicated to promoting positive self-concept in children in a gender-fair and peaceful environment in this year’s project, “Kalinga: Nurturing Spaces for their Future.”
