Pondering on the relation between Plates & PCb thickness and sound profiles.

Interesting how the Mode Envoy (1.6mm) with a Carbon Fiber plate seems to have a fuller or more "marbly" sound compared to the Meletrix Zoom75 (1.2mm) with a Polycarbonate plate.

Wondering if the Zoom75's foam dampens too much whilst Envoys rounds out the sound more.

Thoughts?

I tried out TX AP stabs as advised by the awesome people at Zion Studios PH 's Discord.

This is the first time I've tried clip-in stabs and I love 'em. 😁
Still being rather new to the hobby, I've only experienced using 2 others after the... uhhh... "goat" stabs 😅

Thanks to them, with every part I try, I learn something new.
Like how different stabilizers may be better suited for certain PCBs.

Don't get me wrong, I like the previous stabs I used but the thought of a screw touching the switch socket kept lingering at the back of my mind. 😅 I can rest easy knowing it ain't the case now 😅

I'm a friggin glutton for punishment 😵‍💫 From keeb cleaning (caps and switches included) to relubing stabs + lubing and filming switches.

Additional mods:
Tape and Holee mod using gaffers tape.

Therapeutic but OMG it's tedious 😵
