WINACA extends our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Rodolfo “Ompong” Tan.

Sir Ompong was, as so many of us know, a true master of his craft and we were profoundly blessed to have him share his talents with us. He was a part of our journey since the early 1980s, with countless contributions - including documentation of our processes and products, as well as projects and collaborations, the latest of which being his indispensable support for the Narda’s book production and launch during WITS 2024 at WINACA Village. He also gamely supported WINACA Village's opening and activities. Through the years, Sir Ompong gave shape to WINACA’s vision by designing and producing our marketing materials.

Beyond his contributions, we mourn the passing of a dear friend and trusted presence in our lives, who gave of himself far beyond what was ever asked.

To Sir Ompong’s loved ones - we are keeping you in our prayers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Sir Ompong. We are forever grateful for your kindness, your friendship, and everything you shared with us. You will never be forgotten.

ENTRACE FEE:
➡️Adults (13 years old and above) - 100.00
➡️Senior Citizens and Children (6 to 12 years old) - 80.00
➡️Kids - 50.00

You may also book your events and activities with us catered exclusively by Ebai’s Café and Pastry.
VILLAGE RULES:
1. No Food and Drinks allowed except water.
2. No Vandalism.
2. No Littering.
3. Only water in container is allowed at the Eco-trail.
4. Hike only on marked routes.
5. Do not leave children unattended.
6. Leave the village cleaner than you found it. Munting basura, ibulsa.
7. Flowers, plants, and landscapes are for everyone to enjoy. Destroying and picking of flowers and plants are strictly prohibited.
8. Protect and do not disturb wildlife.
9. Leave only your footprints... take nothing but photographs and memories.
10. Avoid accidents. Do not use facilities without proper gadgets and crew's assistance.
11. For pet lovers, be responsible pet owners.
12. For photo shoots, please return borrowed furniture from where you got them.

We join the country in mourning the demise of Fidel V. Ramos, the 12th president of the Philippines. He helped make economic reforms and opened the country's economy to foreign investment through deregulation and liberalization policies. He will be remembered for promoting global competitiveness and people empowerment.

He will also be remembered as an advocate of Philippine traditional crafts. He was the one who started using Narda’s textile strips on his barongs and jackets – he named it “Igorotchi” (right picture). He was the model for barongs with ikat strips. Another pioneering Narda’s design which has been copied in many versions.

He is joining our founder, Narda Capuyan, in everlasting life.
