A Little Treat is a cozy evening shared by a girl and her cat, surrounded by ordinary things that make the day feel special. ๐Ÿจ

This piece is an exploration of combining my two styles together: my traditional whimsical painting style and the storybook-inspired style Iโ€™ve developed through my digital illustrations. I wanted to keep the warmth and coziness of my traditional art whilst incorporating the illustrated feel of my storybook pieces. ๐Ÿ‚

Last week, I left a tiny clue.. Today, Iโ€™m sharing the news! ๐Ÿ™‚

This October, one of my paintings and I will be traveling to Japan for an international art exhibition with Arrival Gallery in Osaka. ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

Itโ€™s been a busy week at work, so I went for a walk today, even though it was raining.

It was a nice walk, but still kept thinking about creating art.

So I went straight to my studio after my walk, still sweaty and all ๐Ÿ˜…, and started preparing a fresh canvas.

It's an honor to be selected by the Singulart curatorial team and to be featured alongside so many talented artists from across Asia. Knowing that my work is part of a collection showing the diversity and creativity of Asian artists is something I'm really grateful for.

As someone who simply loves to create, moments like this make me realize how art can travel beyond where it began. It's always amazing to think that a small idea that started in my little studio can become a part of an international conversation.
