🇺🇸 ARE AMERICAN AMATEUR TRAINING SYSTEMS TOO PERFECT? 🤔
On The Weege Show, Racer X’s Jason Weigandt raised an interesting theory:
Why are riders like Jett & Hunter Lawrence, the Coenen brothers, and Cole Davies—who weren't products of the traditional American amateur system—doing so well in the pros?
American amateurs now have world-class facilities, coaches, trainers, data, and perfectly prepared tracks.
But overseas riders often grew up with whatever track, whatever conditions, whatever bike.
No perfect setup. Just ride, adapt, figure it out.
Could that adversity be building something different?
Or is this simply a great generation of international talent?
