as a part of my break, i took the chance to reconnect with my younger self. one in mind is a childhood friend of mine—tv series, totally spies, which i adored for its vibrant visuals (from beverly hills landscapes, to sam, alex, and clover’s outfits, to their groovy penthouse), as well as their undercover missions.
the compowder is one of the spies’ gadgets that they use as a super-computer or cell phone to call jerry!
this is a painting on a 9x12 canvas. a classic plastic pinoy mirror is attached to it to make it look like a compowder.

Ebb & Flow | Sunsets have long been one of my favorite sights to see for its beauty and therapeutic essence. It’s the point of interest which I would run to just to witness. As I am growing and transcending, I am reminded that we humans are much like a sunset.
Allow me to quote the founder of humanistic psychology, Carl Rogers, “People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.’ I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.”
This painting is inspired by The Great Wave Off Kanagawa, and you—the viewer who looks at the mirror, who is much like the sun for it rises and sets every day, yet it remains softly beautiful no matter who watches, and no matter who doesn’t.

Absolutely one for the books ⭐️💌 We’re so grateful for this experience. Thanks to .market team and our co-merchants for making this possible and memorable. It’s our first pop-up in NCR and we were scared as hell, but the outcome did not disappoint!! We are grateful for all of those who supported, purchased, dropped by, said hi, took pictures, and smiled at us the entire weekend. To those who purchased that we failed to take a photo of, please tag us if you posted our reworked bags / stickers / polos. We’d love to see you use them and style them. 🤗
