White Room Entanglement: A BRU Love, A Fair Anthology is a collection of six short stories set within a shared cinematic universe centered around an annual love fair. Moving from yearning to the painful beauty of letting go, this book is the kind of read that stays with you long after you turn the last page. Because it resonates for some of us. A love written in different fonts. The BRU Multiverse brilliantly illustrates the layers of circumstance and choice a person is willing to risk in the name of love, and how those decisions ultimately shape and entangle their lives.

So much so that in every timeline of the story, there is one person that stands out the most, the Dean of the university. His existence played a pivotal role in the lives of the characters. That it made me ponder on the importance of having such a person in our lives. The one that will serve as the mentor who shares wisdom and offers wisdom. Someone you could talk to free from biases.

However, since all timelines follow one path, the narrative felt repetitive at times. Yet, this reiteration made me realize how love manifests similarly for everyone. I enjoyed reading the writing style of each other. They speak of love but no stories sound the same. Each possesses a unique depth that is not unusual yet felt fresh.

Finally, I appreciated how each story had a quick back story. I am a firm believer that a story doesn’t need an explanation. It has to stand on its own regardless of how it was formulated. Not knowing how it leads to that keeps it interesting and makes the readers open for speculations.

If you enjoy anthology pieces, these short stories will warm your heart.
