The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines was honored to be part of the 35th Philippine-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival, held at the Metropolitan Theater last Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

The celebration brought together the Philippines and Korea through friendship, cultural exchange, and a shared love for music. ๐ŸŽถโค๏ธ

The audience was treated to incredible performances by Korean a ca****la group EXIT and P-pop girl group KAIA, making the celebration even more memorable!

The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines had an unforgettable time at the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) with Korean author Kim Ho-yeon, author of โ€œThe Second Chance Convenience Store.โ€

From the KCC Library and UP Diliman to the MIBF NBS Stage, Kim Ho-yeon met Filipino readers, signed books, shared stories, and even heard inspiring stories from fans of his hit novel.

And thatโ€™s not all! The KCC brought the โ€œK-Story Convenience Storeโ€ to the SMX Convention Center, where book lovers discovered Korean must-reads and joined in fun activities.

Haegeum (ํ•ด๊ธˆ) is a traditional Korean string instrument. It has two strings and is played with a bow, producing a distinctive sound that can be high, expressive, and somewhat similar to a violin.
