Thank you so much for this incredible honor. Receiving this Legacy Award from TOYCON PHILIPPINES will always feel surreal, especially because I never started this journey thinking about what to gain from it. I simply fell in love with everything that makes up this craft.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to witness this community grow from a small group of passionate enthusiasts into the vibrant, creative, and inspiring community that we see today. If I was able to contribute in any way to helping showcase Philippine cosplay to the world, then I am truly grateful.
But honestly, this award does not belong to me alone.
I would like to shine the spotlight on the ToyCon team and staff, both past and present, who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes for so many years. While many of us stand on stage, they are the ones building the stage. They are the true heroes of our community, and without them, many of the opportunities we’ve enjoyed simply would not exist.
I would also like to thank my team and Black Rose family. Without their support and magic, I would just be an awkward potato. I am endlessly grateful for them.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who supports this scene. You guys are the reason this community thrives. Your passion, creativity, and love for what we do continue to inspire the next generation.
