The Provincial Government of Bohol, through the Bohol Center for Culture and Arts Development (BCCAD) and the Bohol Arts, Culture and Heritage (BACH) Council, is currently conducting another leg of the Panaw sa Alampat 2026: Bohol Arts and Cultural Travelogue at Buenavista Community College from June 3 to 5, 2026.

The three-day arts and culture caravan is bringing together students, educators, and cultural advocates for a series of workshops and learning sessions aimed at promoting creativity, cultural appreciation, and heritage awareness among young Boholanos. Anchored on the theme, โ€œWhere Arts Speak for Nature: Express. Protect. Sustain,โ€ the program continues its mission of bringing arts and cultural education closer to communities across the province.

The activity is being implemented through the collaborative efforts of the Local Government Unit of Buenavista, Buenavista Community College, and the Provincial Government of Bohol through BCCAD and the BACH Council. Participants are currently engaged in specialized sessions covering various artistic disciplines, providing opportunities to develop their talents while deepening their understanding of Boholโ€™s rich cultural heritage and its connection to environmental stewardship.

Officials of Buenavista Community College expressed their gratitude to the Provincial Government of Bohol for bringing the program to their institution. They emphasized that the initiative provides valuable learning opportunities for students and serves as a platform for cultural enrichment, artistic growth, and community engagement.

As one of the Provincial Governmentโ€™s key cultural development initiatives, Panaw sa Alampat continues to advance the provinceโ€™s Strategic Change Agenda on Cultural Heritage by strengthening arts education and expanding access to cultural programs throughout the Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark. Through sustained partnerships with local governments and educational institutions, the program reinforces the commitment to nurture the next generation of artists, cultural workers, and heritage advocates in Bohol.
