"Mad Woman 🧡
X Multo 💙"
• Used Paper
• H&B 180 Peice Color Pencils

A 19th-century "Harana" (serenade) where the global elegance of the "Madwoman" aesthetic meets the haunting, soulful depths of OPM. This piece captures a ghostly encounter across the multiverses, featuring a dreamlike crossover between iconic Wasian figures and the members of Cup of Joe.

The Narrative: Five couples are caught in a moment of "ghostly affection." While the leading ladies (Laufey, Alysa Liu, Lola Tung, Megan Skiendiel, and Havana Rose Liu) are draped in ethereal blue 19th-century nightdresses, the gentlemen of the band haunt the scene in vintage suits, their "soulful" eyes fixed on their muses.

Symbolism: The cracked mirrors and stained-glass sun and moon windows represent the thin veil between the 1960s, the 19th century, and the modern world.

Medium: Hand-rendered using H & B 180 Piece Colored Pencils on Used Paper, giving the work an authentic, weathered texture.

Alysa Liu 💙⛸️

• Used Paper
•H&B 180 peiced color pencils

The artwork features the American Figure skater Alysa Liu in a dynamic skating pose, balancing gracefully on one skate with a playful wink and a welcoming wave. Her hair is styled in a high, sweeping ponytail featuring striking yellow and black stripes, tied together with a classic headband. The scene is filled with a whimsical aura, surrounded by floating hearts in shades of pink, blue, and white, while a small speech bubble adds a personal touch with the greeting, "Hi I'm Alysa." The coloring is smooth and textured, with a soft teal gradient representing the ice beneath her skates.

"Pope's of the Catholic Church" 🇻🇦
• Used Paper
• Various Colored Pencils

Subject Matter:
A comprehensive historical and iconographic representation of the Petrine Office, tracing the chronological succession of the Supreme Pontiffs from St. Peter to the current reign of Leo XIV.

Artistic Description:
This work serves as a grand visual chronicle of the world's oldest continuous institutional office. The composition artfully illustrates the evolution of the Papacy through distinct historical epochs: the era of early Christian martyrdom, the rise of the Holy Roman Empire, the cultural explosion of the Renaissance, and the global diplomatic influence of the modern age.
The drawing highlights the endurance of the "Fisherman's Throne," emphasizing the transition of the Papacy from a regional power in Rome to a universal spiritual authority. It captures the unique dual nature of the Pontiff as both the Bishop of Rome and the Vicar of Christ, set against a backdrop of shifting world empires, theological milestones, and supernatural events that have shaped the global Catholic identity.

REFERENCE VS. ARTWORK:
"Lourdes Church Retablo" 🤍💙
(Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish - K of C Drive Tagbilaran City)
• Used Paper (Ephemera Art)
• Various Colored Pencils

DESCRIPTION:
This artwork is a magnificent liturgical reconstruction that "resurrects" the lost High Altar of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Intramuros (destroyed in 1945) and transplants it into the modern, A-frame architecture of the K of C Church in Tagbilaran. (Currently Occupied by the bronze Sculpture of "The Ressurected Christ by Napoleon Abueva") Executed in the artist’s signature Chibi/Cartoon style, it masterfully blends heavy Hispanic-Filipino Baroque aesthetics with approachable, warm character design.

Key Highlights:
• The Liturgical Realism: The drawing restores the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) High Altar orientation, complete with fine wooden altar rails (comulgar) and altar cards.

• The Hybrid Drapery Concept: Heavy purple curtains with blue-and-yellow tassels act as "real" physical fabric pulled back to reveal the central Trompe L'oeil Grotto where Our Lady of Lourdes stands.

• Localized Boholano Sovereignty: Above the main arch inscribed with Je suis l'Immaculée Conception, the sunburst is ingeniously redesigned with the Sandugo (Blood Compact) resting over the silhouettes of the Chocolate Hills under a guiding star.

• The Tri-Niche Symmetry: Framed by Ave Maria and Purisima banners, the central Mary is flanked by St. Joseph (Patron of the Diocese) with his lily and carpentry tools (Ite ad Joseph), and St. Bernadette with her candle and rosary (Vidi et Credidi).

REFERENCE VS. ARTWORK: "Immaculate Spouse of the Holy Spirit Retablo" (HNU Church) 💙🕊️
• Used Paper
• Various Colored Pencils

This artwork is an illustrated interpretation of the main altar retablo of the Holy Name University Church of the Immaculate Spouse of the Holy Spirit. The drawing recreates the sacred architectural design of the church sanctuary, highlighting the central image of the Blessed Virgin Mary as the Immaculate Spouse of the Holy Spirit beneath the radiating light and the dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit.

Flanking the altar are devotional images of saint's Arnold Janssen and Joseph Freinademitz, which represents the spiritual heritage of the institution founded by the Society of the Divine Word. The symmetrical columns, candles, tabernacle, and sacred symbols emphasize the reverence of the Eucharistic altar at the center of Catholic worship.

Inspired by the real interior of the university church, the artwork transforms the sacred retablo into a colorful and stylized composition while maintaining the structure and spiritual symbolism of the original sanctuary. The piece reflects both architectural appreciation and devotional art, capturing the beauty of the church’s sacred space through a personal artistic interpretation.
