Wayside is a Post Hardcore band from Tacloban City formed in 2019 by original members Rain, RJ, Clyde, Alvin, and Alanis, and was originally an easycore/pop-punk band before switching to emo/post-hardcore in 2020 after a line-up change. During the pandemic, They recorded 2 demos and played in a few shows but because of differing schedules and priorities, the band went on hiatus in late 2022. The band remained inactive until 2025 where they played back-to-back shows last July 18 in Tacloban for To The Core’s “Take Us To Your Lider!”gig and last July 19, 2025 for Hilongos Underground Sound’s Alingisig XXIV at Hilongos, Leyte.
