The Faultline Production is an organization based in Tabaco City who aims to stablish gigs and events to showcase the talents of Albayano musicians. Jewel Lacsina (fresh from Manila) was looking for something to do with his lifein Tabaco. Jayson Echeverria’s (also fresh from Manila) house. They discussed about bringing the “Manila style of gigging” into Tabaco. Jayson at first disagreed due to pri
orities (laziness). Jewel then invited a friend and former bandmate Mr. BhonBonavente to come over atJayson’s house for a meet up. During a lablab session in Bankilingan(Tabaco), Bhon shared a lot of potential for the plan to be realized. This made Jayson have a second thought about the idea. Then the trio was formed, they thought of “April Boys” as the name of the group, due to their birthdays which are all in the month of April. But then it was changed due to over-embarrassment. The Faultline Productions was the second choice. With respect to Jayson’s former band in Manila named “Faultt”. Also as a tribute to the coincidental, massive earthquake that hit Bohol and rocked the Philippines. Then “The Faultline Productions” was born. Roy Bonavente, had been their helping hand in creating the idea of their first gig. Then the debut gig happened. “The Rising” took place on December 29, 2013. With the support of the awakened community of musicians in Tabaco; the audience, who had been thirsty for a rock event; and the Faultline member who voluntarily offered their time and effort to make the event smooth-flowing.
