In celebration of the World Art Day 2026, we are showcasing some of the creative artworks by our Tabakkurit members!
“FALLEN”
charcoal / graphite
A study on resonance. While the "Fallen Angel" trend sparked the idea, the ex*****on was personal. It’s about that specific weight of overthinking and the quiet, heavy beauty of falling out of place to find where you actually belong.
“THE BURNING SILENCE”
acrylic / oil pastel
This work explores the aftermath of the descent—the struggle between the "fire" of our past anxieties and the "water" of a quiet, newfound safety. Inspired by the raw vulnerability of the original fallen angel, but focused on the moment hope reaches back.
“HOLD”
Charcoal
To be a perfectionist is to be your own most demanding architect and your own harshest critic. This piece captures the physical weight of that internal standard. It represents the moments when life felt heavy, and the only way to stay upright was to literally hold myself together.
I’ve always believed that I am the only one with the right to demand excellence from myself. Hold is about that solitary burden—the tears of exhaustion, but also the stubborn hands that refuse to let the head bow. It is the visual representation of holding yourself to a higher standard than the world ever could.
