The face of L'estudio DOCE is a painting titled, "Smile of Hope". A large-format watercolor painting measuring 48" x 72" or 4ft by 6 ft, the original subject photograph was derived from "Bagobo Tribeswoman" by Joji Alcantara, taken back in 2008.

The "Smile of Hope" portrait wasn't painted until later, in 2012, and it wouldn't be until six more years later when it made the biggest impact on Danny Castillon Doce, and the L'estudio DOCE, when it became one of the keys for Danny to go to the US.
