Loving Mother, as a family of faith we come before you with a mixed bag of human life—offering our sincere thanksgiving for prayers answered and placing before you our urgent petitions for healing, peace, and direction. Thank you for your constant, comforting presence beside us. Intercede for us now in our moments of worry or desperation, that we may find the courage to keep moving forward, always resting in the abundant mercy of your Son.

Petition During Fertility Treatment - Mother of Perpetual Help, please intercede for me as I go through this fertility treatment. I pray that each stage of the process may proceed smoothly and that I may be blessed with peace of mind, patience, and strength. Please pray that the follicles may grow well and healthily and that, if it is God's will, this treatment may have a successful outcome. Thank you, Mother, for hearing my prayer.

Petition for Daughter - Dear Mother Mary, I entrust my daughter as she faces learning challenges, and studying and sitting for examinations can sometimes be especially difficult for her. Please intercede for her and ask your Son, Jesus, to bless her with wisdom, understanding and confidence. Help her to remember what she has learned and to remain calm and focused during each examination. Give her courage when she finds something difficult and help her to do the very best that she can. Thank you, dearest Mother Mary.

Thanksgiving After Release from Prison - Mother Mary, My Mother of Perpetual Help, Four months ago, in March 2026, I was arrested for consuming an illegal drug and was sent to prison for three months. Those were some of the most difficult days of my life. Because of my serious illness, I was also afraid for my health and wondered whether I would come through this experience safely. During my 101 days in prison, I prayed a decade of the Rosary every day, asking you, Mother Mary, to intercede with your Son, Jesus, and help me come out of prison alive and in peace. My prayers were answered. I have now been released and will be under electronic tagging for the next nine months. I believe that you were with me during those long and difficult days and nights in my cell, bringing my prayers before your loving Son and protecting me.

Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side while he would send the crowds away. After sending the crowds away he went up into the hills by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, while the boat, by now far out on the lake, was battling with a heavy sea, for there was a head-wind. In the fourth watch of the night he went towards them, walking on the lake, and when the disciples saw him walking on the lake they were terrified. ‘It is a ghost’ they said, and cried out in fear. But at once Jesus called out to them, saying, ‘Courage! It is I! Do not be afraid.’ It was Peter who answered. ‘Lord,’ he said ‘if it is you, tell me to come to you across the water.’ ‘Come’ said Jesus. Then Peter got out of the boat and started walking towards Jesus across the water, but as soon as he felt the force of the wind, he took fright and began to sink. ‘Lord! Save me!’ he cried. Jesus put out his hand at once and held him. ‘Man of little faith,’ he said ‘why did you doubt?’ And as they got into the boat the wind dropped. The men in the boat bowed down before him and said, ‘Truly, you are the Son of God.’

𝗪𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐦 𝐈, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲? It's a question we don't often stop to ask. In the busyness of life, it's easy to define ourselves by our successes, failures, or what others think of us. But our deepest identity isn't found in any of these things — it's found in the truth that we are beloved sons and daughters, created in the image and likeness of God.

Self-knowledge isn't about being overly critical of yourself or pretending your weaknesses don't exist. It's about having the honesty to let God meet you as you are. When we stop running from our imperfections and remember that we are created in His image and deeply loved, we begin to see ourselves more truthfully, and that's often where healing, freedom, and growth begin.
