Meet Roboastra gracilis โ one of the ocean's most striking nudibranchs! โจ๐
At only about 3 cm long, this beautiful sea slug may be small, but it's actually a fierce predator that feeds on other nudibranchs. Its vibrant blue and white coloration makes it one of the most eye-catching critters on the reef ๐ชธ
I was excited to find this amazing creature on the new artificial reef built by here in Siquijor ๐ฅณ
During the 1.5-year monitoring of this reef project, this was my first encounter with Roboastra gracilis on the site.
It's incredible to see how marine life continues to colonize these structures, creating new habitats and increasing local biodiversity ๐๐
Every monitoring dive brings new discoveries!
Have you ever spotted a Roboastra gracilis on one of your dives? ๐
