Meet our workshop facilitator, Mr. Paul Jake Paule!

He is a versatile artist whose work encompasses acting, directing, and workshop facilitation. Formerly the Training Director of PUP Sining-Lahi Polyrepertory, he now serves as the Artistic Director of the Student Theater Artists Repertory (STAR), the resident theater group of Taguig City University. He is also the Project Director for Theater at Artist Playground, where he continues inspiring emerging artists.

His impressive acting skills have earned him multiple nominations and awards, including Best Stage Actor nods at the Aliw Awards for his outstanding performances in various plays. As a director, his work has also received nominations and awards from prestigious organizations, showcasing his talent and dedication to the arts. Alongside his achievements on stage, he has appeared in notable television series such as Huwag Kang Mangamba, The Broken Marriage Vow, Flower of Evil (Philippine adaptation), Dirty Linen, and Maria Clara at Ibarra. His recent nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Play for his role in CCP Tanghalang Pilipino’s Anak Datu highlights his prowess and versatility as an artist.

Most recently, he starred in Phantosmia, a film by Lav Diaz that premiered at the Venice Film Festival and QCinema.
