Matthew 13:44-46 remind us that there is only one thing,that once you have it is enough. Christ. He is the Treasure. He is the Pearl.

Just like the Merchant,once you find that β€œpearl of great value,” you’ll realize that everything you gave up was nothing compared to what you gained.

In today’s world,we chase so many β€œpearls” grades,validation,followers,success,relationships. We think that’s where we’ll find richness. But in the end,we just end up empty.

Did you notice? There was no sadness. It says β€œHe went away with joy” that means following the Lord is not a burden. Yes,you will have to let go of some things. But,he will replace them with peace,direction,and a joy that money cannot buy and that no person can give.

"Ang talinghaga ng nakatagong kayamanan at ng perlas!, Ang kaharian ng Diyos hindi yan dagdag na gawain. Yan yung dahilan kung bakit sulit at may saysay lahat ng pagod"

Sa ebanghelyong ito, ipinakita na ang kaharian ng langit ay katulad ng kayamanang nakatago sa isang bukid. Natagpuan ito ng isang tao, at muli niya itong ibinaon. Dahil sa labis na kagalakan, umalis siya at ipinagbili ang lahat ng kanyang ari-arian at binili ang bukid na iyon.

At saaking pag ninilay-nilay sa ebanghelyong ito ay aking naunawaan na minsan dumarating ang Panginoon nang hindi natin inaasahan. Isang biyaya, isang tawag, isang kapayapaan sa gitna ng problema. Pag naramdaman mo yun, ay maiisip mo na, Ito pala yun. At dahil sa galak, handa kang iwan ang lahat para hawakan ito.

Ito ang hamon sa atin ngayon. Ano ang "bukid" at "perlas" sa buhay natin? Ano ang handa nating ipagpalit para mas mapalapit sa Diyos? At mga tanong na hindi alam kung saan paroroon marahil hindi lang natin nakikita ngunit may pag kakataong ang mga tanong sa ating isipan ay nasasagot ng hindi natin nalalaman, ngunit may mga sariling plano tayo na hindi naman ayon sa kalooban Niya.

Ang Kaharian ng Diyos ay hindi pabigat. Ito ay kagalakan. Ito ang dahilan kung bakit nagiging sulit ang lahat ng pagod at sakripisyo.

Kaya sa araw na ito, pansinin natin kung saan kumikilos ang Panginoon. Piliin natin Siya higit sa lahat. At magalak tayo, sapagkat ang tunay na kayamanan ay hindi nawawala at hindi nanakaw, dahil ito ay si Kristo.

One thing I realized from this Gospel is that God keeps planting His word in our hearts, but it's up to us if we'll let it grow. There are times when I get distracted, overthink, or lose motivation, and I become like the rocky or thorny soil. But this reminded me that every day is another chance to open my heart again.

God never stops planting so may we never stop growing. I pray that I become like the good soil, not perfect, but willing to listen, trust, and let His word change me little by little.
