Today, we celebrate St. Monica, a beautiful example of faithful love, patience, and prayer. Through years of hardship and quiet suffering, she never stopped trusting God or praying for her son, St. Augustine. In time, her perseverance bore fruit, becoming a powerful witness of Godโ€™s grace.

Her life reminds us that faith is often lived in waiting, in tears, and in hope, and that no prayer is ever wasted.

Prayer to St. Monica:
O St. Monica, faithful mother and woman of prayer, you trusted God even in your sorrow. Intercede for us, that we may remain steadfast in faith and never lose hope. Amen.

Saint Monica of Hippo, pray for us.
