Backyard Skatepark is now signing off💔

After 11 unforgettable years, it’s finally time to say goodbye.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your endless support and love for BYSP. You made this place more than just a skatepark—you made it a community and a home.

To all of our sponsors who believed in us from day one—DC, Mountain Dew, Vans, and all the other brands who stood by us—thank you for your trust and support throughout the years.

To everyone who made this park come alive through skate competitions, gigs, motor shows, photoshoots, and countless unforgettable events, thank you for being part of our story.

Thank you for all the memories, the friendships, and the moments we’ll never forget.

Take care of yourselves, keep skating, and keep supporting your local skate community.

Well… this is the post we never wanted to make.

For 11 incredible years, Backyard Skatepark has been more than just a skatepark. It became a second home, a place where friendships were built, tricks were landed (and slammed 😅), competitions were held, and countless memories were made.

With heavy hearts, we have to say goodbye.
Backyard Skatepark will officially be closing its doors.

As our way of saying THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of this journey, we’re inviting you to our 3-Day FREE SKATE—one last chance to ride together in the place we’ve all called home.

This isn’t just a farewell.
It’s a celebration of every laugh, every battle scar, every first trick, every late-night session, and every memory we’ve shared over the past 11 years.

Thank you to everyone who supported Backyard Skatepark from day one until the very end.

The park may be closing…
but you still owe your friend that trick you’ve been saying “next try” for the last five years. 😅🛹

We’ll miss this place more than words can say.
