From the traditions of Paete to the language of contemporary sculpture, Jerry Morada’s works carry a deep connection to Filipino craftsmanship.

Born and raised in Paete, Laguna, Morada grew up surrounded by woodcarving and began creating figurines under the guidance of his father, a woodcarver himself. What began as an early introduction to the craft eventually developed into a lifelong practice shaped by discipline, observation, and a strong understanding of form.

Working with materials such as marble and wood, Morada transforms traditional craftsmanship into works that feel both distinctly Filipino and contemporary.

Raul Isidro (b. 1943), was born in Calbayog, Samar, and is one of Philippine's most notable senior artists whose work has left a mark in the field of contemporary painting. Isidro’s creations are known for their striking combination of vivid colors against a minimalist background, a signature style that effectively conveys his deep thoughts, emotions, and passions.
