Muling nakiisa sa Pagtataas ng Watawat ng Sintang Paaralan ang PUP Bagong Himig Serenata kasabay ng paggunita sa Buwan ng Wika at Kasaysayan ngayong Agosto.

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagtaguyod ng temang "𝙒𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤: 𝙇𝙪𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙄𝙣𝙠𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙤 𝙖𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙞𝙥𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙣”, ginamit natin ang musika upang ipakita na ang wikang Filipino ay buhay na sagisag ng ating kultura, pagkakaisa, at pagmamahal sa bayan.

Nawa'y manatiling buhay ang diwa ng ating wika sa bawat himig at pusong Pilipino!

𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲.

Last July 26, 2026, the PUP Bagong Himig Serenata along with other choristers from different choirs performed songs that were originally composed by the participants of the 2026 Songwriting Workshop and arranged by 𝗠𝗮𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗼 in celebration of the 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵’𝘀 𝟴𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮 with a theme “𝙄𝙢𝙣𝙤 𝙉𝙜𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣: 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙢𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙏𝙖𝙮𝙤”.

Filling the audience with different songs to hear, we built harmony and showcased the fruit of creativity.

Bilang isang grupong binigkis ng musika at iisang wika, nakikiisa ang PUP Bagong Himig Serenata sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika at nagdaang Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng paghahandog ng awiting "𝗡𝗼𝘆𝗽𝗶" ni 𝗕𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗼 na inareglong pangkoro ni 𝗠𝗮𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗼.

Ipinagmamalaki sa awiting ito ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga Pilipino at ang kanilang katatagan sa kabila ng iba't ibang mga unos.

Bitbit ang katagang "𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘪𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘨, 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯!”, patuloy nating ipagmamalaki ang wika at mga awiting nagbibigay identidad sa ating bansa at kulay sa ating kultura't paniniwala.

Mabuhay ang Orihinal na Musikang Pilipino! Mabuhay ang ating sariling wika!

Last July 24, 2026, the PUP Bagong Himig Serenata congratulated the awardees and participants of the Recognition Awards for Collaborative Engagement (RACE) Year 4.

With every note, we elevated the ceremony — unifying the hall with a passionate delivery of harmony.

Last July 23, 2026, the PUP Bagong Himig Serenata showcased their talent in celebration of the 162nd Birth Anniversary of Apolinario Mabini, held at the PUP Main Campus.

The event was filled with respect as we commemorated the life and contributions of G*t Apolinario Mabini in our country. This serves as a reminder for us, as Filipinos, to continue upholding his vision for the nation.

𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗲.

On July 15, 2026, the PUP Bagong Himig Serenata brought music to the aspiring Iskolar ng Bayan, their parents, and companions gathered at the PUP Main Gymnasium.

After their hours of waiting under the scorching sun, we hoped our songs offered a moment of comfort, encouragement, and renewed hope. May these melodies remain with them as they take the next step toward a brighter future.
