You know me more than ever 🥹

Sometimes the most powerful prayer isn’t,

“Lord, give me more.”

It’s simply,

“Lord, thank You.”

Because even when life is difficult,

God is still good.

And even when life isn’t easy, I am deeply, undeservedly, and eternally blessed.

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His steadfast love endures forever. — Psalm 107:1

Pray Over Your Child's Identity

Father,
Before the world gets to my child today, I speak first.

I declare over them what You declared before they were born. That they are not an accident. Not a mistake. Not too much or not enough. They were knit together in secret and named in eternity before their first breath.

I cancel every lie that has already tried to attach itself to who they are. The ones whispered in classrooms, in mirrors, in comparison to other children. I uproot it now, at the source, before it grows roots.

Establish their identity in You not in what they achieve, not in who accepts them, not in what they look like. Let them know in their bones that they are loved before they perform, valued before they produce, and chosen before they could earn it.

When the world speaks let Your voice be louder. When they look in the mirror let them see what You see. When they feel like they don't belong remind them they were made for a Kingdom.

Cover them going out and coming in today. You know every room they'll walk into. Be there before they arrive.

In Jesus' name. Amen.

People bring in the “latest chikka” and the subject isn’t the smartest person in the room.

At some point, we have to stop treating “marites” behavior like it’s harmless fun, especially when it feeds on other people’s struggles.

People like that aren’t genuinely friendly. They just pay close attention to others, but rarely turn that same awareness inward.

They can analyze everyone else’s life in detail, yet somehow skip their own reflection.

Let’s not confuse gossip with intelligence. There’s nothing admirable about conversations built on tearing others down, and nothing meaningful about a voice that thrives on negativity.

IF ALL YOU BRING INTO A SPACE IS INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE, THEN YOU’RE NOT CONTRIBUTING ANYTHING REAL, YOU’RE JUST FILLING THE AIR WITH NOISE.
