🏁 MINDANAO’S PRIDE Alain FROM GENERAL SANTOS CITY TO THE NATIONAL RACING STAGE.
Fresh from victory. Back home in Mindanao.
Davao Circuit proudly welcomes Alain Gabriel Alzona, one of Mindanao’s accomplished circuit racers and a name that continues to make its mark in Philippine motorsports.
Alain’s story is more than one race or one victory.
It is a story of progression.
From racing in the Promotional Class, becoming the 2023 TGR Vios Cup Promotional Class Overall Season Champion, moving through the Sporting Class, and eventually reaching the premier Super Sporting Class. Alain has continued to prove that a racer from Mindanao can rise through the ranks and compete with some of the best drivers in the country.
And in August 2026, he gave Mindanao another reason to be proud.
Alain delivered victories in the Super Sporting Class during the 2026 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines Cup Race Weekend 3 at Batangas Racing Circuit.
From General Santos City Toyota General Santos to one of Philippine motorsport's biggest racing stages, he continues to carry the pride of the South every time he lines up on the grid.
But perhaps what makes this moment even more meaningful is seeing someone who has competed and succeeded at established circuits come home and experience what is being built here in Mindanao.
Because this is bigger than one driver.
This is about the next generation.
For years, many talented drivers from Mindanao had the passion, the cars, and the determination to race but opportunities to experience proper circuit driving close to home were limited.
To pursue the sport seriously often meant traveling far from Mindanao.
Today, we are working to change that.
Davao Circuit exists to give our community a place to start.
A place where a beginner can experience a circuit for the first time.
A place where drivers can learn the proper racing line, braking points, consistency, discipline, car control, and respect for the track.
A place where clubs and teams can come together.
A place where speed belongs on the circuit not on public roads.
And through the DCKING Superlap Series, we want to give more drivers an accessible entry point into competitive circuit driving.
You don't need to arrive as a champion.
You don't need to have the fastest car.
You don't need years of racing experience just to begin.
Every champion had a first track day.
Every champion had a first lap.
Every champion once started as a beginner.
Alain's journey is proof of what can happen when talent is given an opportunity to develop.
And somewhere in Davao, Gensan, Cagayan de Oro, Bukidnon, Cotabato, or another corner of Mindanao, there may be another young driver dreaming of following that same path.
Maybe their journey starts here.
Maybe their first official lap happens at Davao Circuit.
Maybe their first competition is DCKING.
And maybe years from now, we'll watch another Mindanao racer stand on a national podium and remember where their journey began.

Alain will take on the 1.3KM Davao Circuit alongside some of Mindanao's fastest drivers, teams, garages, and upcoming racing talents as they fight for one thing:
THE FASTEST TIME.
For DCKING, having a national-level racer like Alain joining the competition means more than another name on the entry list.
It creates a benchmark.
A time for other drivers to chase.
A standard for aspiring racers to measure themselves against.
And an opportunity for our local racing community to see how their skills and machines compare with a driver who has already proven himself on the national stage.
