The stage is set, the lights are ready, and it’s time to show off that hard-earned craftsmanship! we want to see your best character transformation at the Ilocos Summer Toy Expo 2026, Summer Cosplay Showdown!

1. General Rules & EligibilityThe

Open Field: This competition is open to ALL Ilocos cosplayers. Whether your costume is self-made, commissioned, or store-bought, everyone is eligible for the Top 3 prizes.

Safety: No sharp metal blades (live steel), functional fi****ms, or messy substances (glitter, liquids, etc.).

Content: This is a mall event. Costumes and performances must be family-friendly (PG-13).

Reference: Please bring a printed photo or have a digital image ready of the character you are portraying for the judges.

2. The Judging Process

Pre-Judging (4:30 PM): A quick "look-over" by the judges to see the details of your costume before you go on stage.

Stage Performance (5:00 PM): Each contestant has 60–90 seconds on stage. You may do a simple walk-and-pose or a short character skit.

3. Scoring Rubric (50 Points Total)

Overall Visual Impact (20 Points)

- Evaluates the "Wow" factor of the entry.

- Focuses on the cleanliness of the costume, quality of makeup, wig styling, and overall polish from head to toe.

Character Accuracy (15 Points)

- Measures how closely the contestant resembles the chosen character.

- Judges look at the fidelity to the design and how well the contestant represents the character’s specific personality.

Stage Performance (15 Points)

- Evaluates the contestant’s confidence and presence on stage.

- Includes the quality of posing, movement, and how effectively the contestant utilizes their 60–90 seconds of stage time.

TOTAL: 50 Points
