Our Production Manager, 𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒚 𝑬𝒏𝒓𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒛, and Curatorial Leader, 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒋𝒂𝒔, presented the concept of 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒂 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒈 to the SM Marikina team—sharing what the exhibit is about, what visitors can expect, and why we are proposing SM Marikina as a possible venue for our exhibition.

The presentation was followed by a discussion with 𝑴𝒔. 𝑲𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑳𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒏, 𝑺𝑴 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅; 𝑴𝒓. 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒔 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒛, 𝑺𝑴 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓; and 𝑴𝒔. 𝑵𝒂𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒉 𝑻𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒂, 𝑺𝑴 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒕. 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓. They shared questions, suggestions, and insights about our artworks, audience reach, activities, and overall exhibit plans, giving us new ideas to consider as we continue developing our proposal. 𓂃✍︎

We also had the opportunity to visit the proposed exhibit space and assess its layout and surroundings. With the area being an open space near restaurants and shops, we are now looking into how we can make the most of the space and create a setup that works well for the exhibition. ⊹ ࣪ ˖

Our Popular Music Apprenticeship Mentors dedicated their time to assessing the skills and potential of our student-apprentices, providing valuable feedback and home-task guidelines to help them prepare for the upcoming 160-hour apprenticeship program.

Guiding our young musicians are our mentors and kuyas in music: 𝙅𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙭, professional drummer of 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘥; 𝙀𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣, lead guitarist of 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘥 and 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘣𝘴, and session guitarist of 𝘒𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘻𝘦𝘦; and 𝙅𝙖𝙝𝙢𝙚𝙨, professional session drummer of 𝘒𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘻𝘦𝘦.

This assessment is part of the careful preparation for Halo-Halong Tunog 2027, where students will showcase not only their performance skills but also their original musical compositions, developed throughout their apprenticeship journey.

Every great artist starts with practice, guidance, and the courage to create. The stage may be waiting, but the work starts now. 🎵

✨🎭 Kultura’y bubuhayin, sining nating ipagdiwang!
