Still on view: “Sinag” by Robin Catle

This exhibition also marks the introduction of Catle’s Pareidolia series, a body of work that explores the human tendency to perceive recognizable images within unrelated forms. Drawing from the rich tradition of classical still life, the artist balances technical refinement with conceptual inquiry. His compositions resonate with echoes of abundance and transience, yet they move beyond symbolic convention toward a more psychological terrain.

Still on view: “Atmospheric Touch” by Ian Calda

Each piece inhabits a space between observation and recollection. Geological surfaces, softened contours, and nuanced tonalities suggest environments shaped by both natural forces and human presence. Through this interplay, scenery becomes more than a subject; it becomes a vessel for reflection, inviting viewers into realms where perception, remembrance, and imagination converge.

Luminosity permeates the collection, not solely as an optical phenomenon but as a catalyst for revelation. Illumination functions as an agent of transformation, allowing hidden associations to surface and dormant possibilities to emerge from seemingly straightforward arrangements.

Guided by the principle of sprezzatura, an understated mastery that conceals complexity beneath apparent ease, the works possess a quiet sophistication. Nothing appears forced; instead, meaning unfolds gradually through subtle relationships between form, surface, and atmosphere. The resulting visual language balances restraint with depth, inviting prolonged engagement rather than immediate resolution.

“Atmospheric Touch” by Ian Calda is on view until until June 22, 2026.
