Rizal Artist Ella Hipolito is a graduate of Fine Arts from the College of the Holy Spirit Manila. She worked as an Art Director prior to being a full time visual artist in 2015. She is Co-founder of the San Mateo Artists Guild, the first & only recognized art group in San Mateo, Rizal and has had several solo shows. She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions and art demonstrations and was a finalist in several prestigious competitions including the GSIS National Art Competition. She started sculpting in Brass in 2021 while continuously painting her whimsical works on Canvas.

Artist Ella Hipolito marks the end of 2025 with an exhibition that honors a year of artistic growth and resonates with the gentle whimsy and festive magic that define this time of year. From her two-man show “Avian Visions: When Whimsy Meets Realism” to her participation in Mocaf 2025’s sculpture group exhibition, “Anima,” as well as her involvement in various gallery group shows, Hipolito truly has much to celebrate. Each milestone has broadened and refined her visual language, inviting viewers deeper into her world of tender narratives, playfulness, and carefully layered emotions.

For “Enchanting Realms,” Hipolito sets her signature flock against the quiet cheer of candy-colored skies. Her tiny, round-bodied creatures with embroidered wings, stitched patterns, and playful personalities flutter with candy crowns, floral garlands, and lollipops, confections and sweets. Their lively forms gather, clustering in playful swarms that feel like festivals suspended in midair. These scenes are almost like portals: destinations the birds aspire to reach, or perhaps memories they return to. Each painting becomes a doorway, a soft opening into a universe shaped by delight, wonder, and the secret architecture of childhood dreams.

“Enchanting Realms” by Ella Hipolito will be on view from November 30 to December 14. Wishing Ambit Mendoza a happy birthday! 🎂

Ambit Mendoza is a contemporary artist hailing from Rodriguez, Rizal. Her artist name derives from her nickname in the Igorot dialect, with “Ambit” meaning “little girl”. She draws inspiration from life’s treasures: her family and childhood to her love for nature, especially for its meditative qualities and implications. This eventually roused her inclination to meditative walking, stillness practices, mindfulness, attention training in bonsai, and creating art.

The artist has received several recognitions for her contemporary talents, becoming a two-time semi-finalist at the Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (MADE) – Oil Painting Category in 2008 and 2011. She’s also gained spots in numerous group and solo exhibitions since 2017, with the most notable ones including Art in the Park (2017, 2019) with Art Verité, Art 4 Space, and Urban Chic Galleries respectively, “Another Day” Group Exhibit (2019) at R Gallery, and “The Emerald Exhibit” (2022, 2023) at Galerie Joaquin.

Wishing Camille Dela Rosa a happy birthday! 🎂

Camille D. Dela Rosa (b. 1982) studied at the University of the Philippines - Diliman. Her works, commencing in 1998, include Impressionist gardens, landscapes, and seascapes, among others. Her father is the late Ibarra Dela Rosa, a prolific painter, art educator, poet, and philosopher. Camille's father did not teach her how to paint, so, after his death in 1998, she taught herself and pursued her own artistic vision using her father's style and previous paintings as inspiration. Camille Dela Rosa mounted her first solo exhibition at the age of 16.

Shaped by the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines, Sanclaria explores the ability of colors to evoke emotions, forging a meaningful connection with its viewers.

Wishing Carlo Ongchangco a Happy Birthday! 🎂

Carlo Ongchangco hails from the University of Santo Tomas, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. This multifaceted artist consistently defies being boxed into a specific category.

Ongchangco’s art is whimsical but not frivolous. His works borrow from the visual language of children’s book illustration, graphic design, cartoon and Japanese pop art. He uses subdued colors that create a wistful, nostalgic mood for the caricature subjects that populate his works. His characters are almost always children with rounded faces, with eyes that are uneven – one is often inconspicuously small while the other is grotesquely big. The emphasis made with the big eye hint at a mystery, and a discovery waiting to be made.
