*See what I see, the beauty of the sea, WATCH in HD*
Technically, it's our first dive anniversary. Looking back at last year, 2023, during our first diving experience (for me, it was a comeback) in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines, I asked Nut and Honey if they wanted to try scuba diving, and they agreed. In current settings 2024, I didn't realize until later that day that both the El Nido, Palawan, Philippines vacation and this Phi Phi Island, Thailand vacation shared the same wish: a birthday scuba diving experience.
For this anniversary and birthday special, here is a short seven-minute pure underwater video from two of the Phi Phi Island dives for you to enjoy.
I tried editing the video as natural as what my eyes see underwater. If you see it lacking colors, ... well... ... it's most probably because we're at 20m deep and the footage needs a bit of light to see the real beauty of it. If you think it's murky and don't fully understand what you're seeing and all that stuff floating around, ... well... it's really how we experienced it! Hory Sheeert, right? I have most of it in slow motion since it may cause dizziness and I want it to look calming. Leave it on and just watch the entirety of the video.
With all these explanations, guaranteed, it's really calming and nice underwater.

Dive 1:
Hin Klai is one of the popular dive sites near Phi Phi Island. Known for its stunning underwater landscape, the site features a variety of coral formations and an abundance of marine life. Divers can expect to see colorful schools of fish, vibrant coral gardens, and possibly even sightings of larger sea creatures such as reef sharks and barracudas. The clear water and diverse ecosystem make Hin Klai an excellent spot for both novice and experienced divers looking to explore the beauty of the Andaman Sea. BUT during our dive here, it was extremely murky.
Dive 2:
Palong 2 is another exceptional dive site near Phi Phi Island, renowned for its impressive underwater topography and vibrant marine biodiversity. The site is famous for its limestone formations, which create intriguing swim-throughs and caves for divers to explore. Marine life at Palong 2 is abundant, with frequent sightings of blacktip reef sharks, moray eels, and a variety of tropical fish species. The site also boasts healthy coral reefs that add a splash of color to the underwater scenery. With its clear waters and captivating underwater landscapes, Palong 2 offers a memorable diving experience for enthusiasts of all levels.
