STORY TIME | THE TRUE UNDERDOG STORY OF INVICTUS BBX DIVISION
It always starts the exact same way: a blank page, a couple of dreamers, and an entire scene that thinks you don’t belong.
This is our story. The story of how a small spark from the North turned into a wildfire that took the entire Philippine Beyblade X community by storm.
Phase 1: The Spark (April 2026)
It all started on April 19, with a simple message sent to BUNSO. The vision was clear and audacious, build an underdog team under Invictus International to crash the Beyblade X scene and prove that heart beats hype every single time.
By April 22, Bunso officially signed on. We set our sights on scouting the rawest, hungriest talent across the northern communities. On April 26, CNZ answered the call, locking in our core foundation. Realizing we needed structure to match our hunger, Bunso introduced RAFFTOR on April 27, who stepped up as our anchor and BBX Manager.
To complete our initial three-man powerhouse squad, the team welcomed GOJINO, a terrifying prospect blader straight out of Nueva Ecija.
Phase 2: Fire and Growing Pains (Early May)
With 5v5 tournaments looming, we needed to level up. We brought in SE7EN, a phenomenal prospect from Pampanga. We threw him straight into the fire at the Aspakan 6 Silab 1v1 Tournament on May 3, and what did he do? He carved through 146 elite bladers to bring home the very first championship in Invictus BBX history!
But sports can be brutal. On May 19, SE7EN departed the team, leaving a massive hole in our lineup. Panic? Doubt? Not for Invictus.
Instead, we opened the gates with an open BBX recruitment trial. Over 100+ bladers applied. Out of that massive wave emerged diamonds in the rough: AKASHI and ANTARES from Olongapo, alongside a seismic addition. EL MEIJIN, a PBBL S6 Champion and Finals MVP from one of the biggest stages in the Philippines.
On May 22, they officially joined the Invictus family. That exact same day, Bunso, CNZ, and Rafftor rolled into Kyusi Hatakeros in Quezon City to plant our flag in the North, walking away with the 2nd-ever Championship and a haul of awards.
Phase 3: Forging Iron in the Trenches (June)
With a massive target on our backs, we rolled into the 4v4 X-Treme Vertex: Philippines Evolution. We needed an 8th blader to complete the squad, and ABCD stepped up to fill the puzzle piece. Though we placed 46th and 47th overall, the lessons forged in that tournament made us bulletproof.
We stopped playing like a newly formed team and started playing like true bladers on June 1: RAFFTOR took home the Grand Tournament Championship at Hatakan 8 (Sanjo Bladers), securing our 3rd Championship alongside Bunso and Gojino. June 13: GOJINO claimed the Ultimate Swiss King crown at The North Hobbies. June 14: Bunso, Rafftor, and Akashi claimed our 4th Championship at BBX 3v3 Trinity Strike in Tarlac, in a poetic showdown against our former teammate SE7EN and the Florida Bladers. June 24: Our Dayo Serye in Baguio which CNZ took home the Champion title and Antares finishing as Finalist, right alongside Bunso & Rafftor. This is just some of the few we had to go through to get to this point.
We were no longer just "the new kids." We were being recognized as one of the best underdog powerhouse of the North.
Phase 4: The 10-Man Final Form (July)
With the pressure mounting for the upcoming Philippines Beyblade Battle League (PBBL) Season 7, we finalized our legacy. JAMAL stepped in on June 8, and DRIPWOO completed the puzzle on July 1, finalizing our official 10-man roster.
To test our armor, we charged into the 3v3 Beyblade X Metro Circuit S2 Week 1 on July 20. ABCD, El Meijin, CNZ, and Rafftor dominated the Swiss stage as Swiss Kings, proving that our depth was second to none.
Phase 5: South Side Spinners Tournament
As we geared up for the ultimate PBBL showdown, our journey took us straight into the heat of the South Side Spinners. Armed with our complete family and unbreakable chemistry, we stood tall against the best of the best.
Driven by teamwork, grit, and the relentless fire of every single blader on our roster, we officially brought home our very first ever Team Trophy to Invictus Internatiomal, achieving 2ND RUNNER UP as a whole team!
💜🖤 The Mission Continues
This is just some of the stuff we had to go through to get to this point. Even with all the doubters around us trying to dim our light, we remain endlessly thankful to every single supporter, fan, and community who stood by, believed in, and witnessed the historic journey of the Invictus BBX Division.
Look at where we started, a simple chat message and a couple of dreamers, and look at where we stand now. A complete 10-man brotherhood holding high our first major team trophy.
We didn’t just survive the climb. We built the mountain.
We are not done, we are just getting started. 🫶
Much love, INVICTUS INTERNATIONAL 🔥💜🖤
STAY POSITIVE & KEEP BLADING 💫
