Mabuhay, Kabataang Pilipino!

In order for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Youth Affairs and Special Concerns- Youth Formation Division (OASYASC-YFD) of the Department of Education to develop a student-centered, interactive, inclusive, and holistic program of activities for the upcoming NATIONAL STUDENTS' DAY in November 2022, we want to hear from you!

Please answer the Pre-Event Survey on National Students’ Day 2022 through this link, https://bit.ly/NSD2022PreEventSurvey.

It aims to solicit feedback, suggestions, or recommendations from our field counterparts including Youth Formation Coordinators, school heads/principals, teacher-advisers, students, and other school stakeholders to deeply brainstorm, carefully craft, and successfully conduct this year's National Students' Day. It also aims to involve our stakeholders in the decision-making process to share a common understanding and active participation leading to empowerment and joint ownership of the event. This will serve as one of the OASYASC-YFD's deciding factors.

2022 is the Year of ASEAN Youth

This year, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) invites all young people to amplify their messages on leadership and community development. In the spirit of One ASEAN Identity, the youth of ASEAN are recognized as the current and future leaders of the region.

The Year of ASEAN Youth will remain consistent with the post-2020 vision of ASEAN youth development, focusing on fostering 21st century skills and digital skills, and the institutionalization of youth engagement mechanisms, guided by the soon-to-be-published ASEAN Work Plan on Youth 2021-2025.

Isang grateful na araw, Kabataang Pilipino!

Ang sarap mapakinggan ang salitang ""Salamat"" mula sa mga taong iyong natulungan o naging bahagi ng iyong buhay Isang salitang nagbibigay kasiyahan sa puso at pumapawi ng ating pagod at kalungkutan.

IKAW, sino ba ang nais mong pasalamatan? Bakit mo sila gustong pasalamatan? Anong papel ang kanilang ginampanan sa buhay mo?

Kung sino man siya o sila, ngayon na ang pagkakataon upang ipaabot mo sa kanya o sa kanila ang taos puso mong pasasalamat! Magbahagi rin ng inyong larawan together upang mas marami pa ang ma-inspire at magshare ng kanilang moments!

Isang youthful na araw, Kabataang Pilipino!

Naniniwala ang YFD na ang boses ng madla ay mahalaga upang maihatid namin ang isang karanasan na may hatid na di malilimutang kasiyahan. Kaya naman, panahon na para pagbigyan ang inyong mga kahilingan. Sa darating na Virtual Celebration ng International Youth Day 2022 simula ngayong Agosto 8 hanggang Agosto 12, anong mga activities ang nais mong mapabilang sa ating gawain at bakit?

Kumusta, mga ka-Barkada!

The Youth Formation Division (YFD), in partnership with the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), will host a 2-day virtual convention for the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Program.

This year’s theme is “Addressing Drug Challenges in Health and Humanitarian Crises for the Youth.”

Through the promotion of drug prevention measures, this activity seeks to increase youth participation in drug abuse prevention initiatives and public awareness of the harmful consequences of illegal drugs.

This will be held on July 26-27, 2022 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

What's up kabataang Pilipino!

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Youth Affairs and Special Concerns – Youth Formation Division (OASYASC-YFD), in partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), will conduct the Pulse of the Youth: National Voter’s Education Campaign for the 2022 Elections on April 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. via the DepEd Tayo – Youth Formation official page.

This activity aims to educate young people about the election voting process and mechanics; highlight the importance of roles, responsibilities, and rights of young voters; and enhance the thrust for youth participation in the upcoming 2022 national elections.
