Buwan ng Wika, Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya

Ang pagdiriwang ng buwan ng wika ay hindi lamang tumutukoy sa kung gaano ka-importante ang ating sariling wika, ito rin ay tumutukoy sa kung paanong ang wikang Filipino ay naging isa na rin sa ating pagka-kakilanlan. Tunay ngang ang wikang Filipino ay siyang wikang mapagpalaya dahil patuloy nitong sinisimbulo ang kasaysayan ng ating bansa, at ito rin ay siyang simbolo ng mga magigiting na taong ipinaglaban ang ating kalayaan.

Gaya nga ng sinabi ng dating pangulong si Manuel L. Quezon, "Di iiral ang pambansang kaluluwa kung walang wika na nagbubuklod". Nawa'y bilang isang pilipino, maging isa tayong nagbubuklod upang ipagdiriwang ang buwan ng ating wikang pambansa upang tayo ay mas maging malaya.
