IS POUR PAINTING ART?
Dictionary.com, art is “the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance.”
The definition of art is open, subjective, debatable. There is no agreement among historians and artists, which is why we’re left with so many definitions of art.
For me, acrylic paint pouring lets me feel like I can create something that will bring joy and wonder to myself and to others. I love experimenting with colors, mediums, techniques, and painting surfaces. It gives me a focus that lets me put my cares and worries aside without making them seem small or trivial.
I think that art is deliberated, purposed and arranged in a way you can transmit your emotions or show intended expressions and emotional power, this concept changes in acrylic pouring because you can choose your colours but you can't control the outcome, it's totally spontaneous and unpredicted.
You don't need specific talent for acrylic pouring, all you need is enthusiasm and develop enough skills to handle your mediums and paints, crafty expressions of creativity as it is use not only in paints but also in the creation of diverse number of items.
Following the minimalist trend of this days acrylic pouring can be very likable for home decor and aesthetics,
They are just so simple and beautiful to look at ..one can keep staring at the color play
Symbolising flow and change in the purest form.
There are many themes and emotions to it .. now the respect factor depends upon who made it and what eyes saw them .. a really renowned and intelligent acrylic pour painter has that skill to make the smallest of pours under his own control and the using the power of imagination and skill the artist can express a major social thought using this technique.
I would say yes they are when made with experience and given true meaning.
Art shouldn’t be typical or traditional. It should be innovative. It should evoke an emotional response in the viewer (and the artist well). Art is visual, poured acrylic is visual.
