During the Tagalog Mass - January 18, 2026 celebrated at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Singapore, the San Lorenzo Ruiz Filipino Choir (SLRC) rendered the hymn “Magdiwang Ang Sambayanan” from the Mass album Misa Alay Kay San Isidro Labrador.

This occasion was particularly significant as the Third Sunday, also coincided with the Feast of the Santo Niño. It marked both the first time the hymn was introduced to the congregation and its first performance outside the Philippines.

The hymn was partly sung in unison with simple musical parts, enabling the congregation to clearly perceive the melody and actively participate through communal singing.
