Japan: The Director’s Cut
A visual love letter to the places that changed the way I see the world.
This film blends video + photography to capture Japan the way it feels: calm, cinematic, alive, and endlessly inspiring. From the timeless temples of Kyoto, to the electric pulse of Tokyo, to the unmatched energy and chaotic magic of Osaka — each city hits with its own vibe, its own rhythm, its own soul.
Shot entirely on the iPhone 16 Pro Max, edited on my Mac in Final Cut, and brought to life with film emulation through Dehancer. This is my most intentional Japan project yet — slower, deeper, more curated — a director’s cut of the moments that stayed with me.
