Happy Priests' Day to our beloved Fr. Nelson and Fr. CJ!

On this Sunday, the Church proposes St. Jean-Marie Vianney as a luminous model of what the priesthood is for: to lead people to Christ through the Eucharist, the truth of God, and the mercy of Confession. St. Jean-Marie Vianney is praised as a good shepherd who gave his people the โ€œfood of Christian truthโ€ by preaching and teaching catechism throughout his life.

Heart of Jesus, pierced for love, renew in every priest the grace of their vocation. Make them a faithful witness of Your mercyโ€”joyful in service, steadfast in prayer, and gentle in guiding Your people. IN PHOTOS | Last July 14, 2026, the UP Parish Choir and Alumni gathered at Delaney Hall for ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐œ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐’๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ‘: ๐‚๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐œ, led by Dr. Arwin Tan. Together, we explored the artistry of ensemble singing, choral blend, vocal unity, and notes sight-reading, discovering how every voice contributes to one harmonious sound.

Beyond learning new techniques, this workshop reminded us that true choral singing begins with attentive listening, grows through discipline, and flourishes when every singer breathes, sings, and serves with one heart and one purpose.

Beyond vocal techniques, breathing, resonance, diction, and healthy voice production, this workshop reminded us that singing is more than hitting the right notesโ€”it is about expressing prayer, communicating, and serving with sincerity. As ministers of sacred music, may we continue to grow in both skill and purpose, so that every hymn we sing becomes a prayer that touches hearts and glorifies God. Our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Ena for generously sharing her expertise and passion. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

As we continue enriching our choir through sacred music and deepening our harmony, we joyfully look forward to the next series of our learning journey.

Last July 1 & 2, the UP Parish Choir was blessed to render its ministry through sacred music during the wake service at Sanctuarium, Araneta Ave., QC.

As we sang prayers of comfort and hope, we were reminded that every hymn becomes a quiet embrace for grieving hearts and a gentle reminder of God's unfailing promise of eternal life. In moments of sorrow, music speaks where words fall short, lifting every prayer to heaven and offering peace to those left behind.

Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go to the Fernandez family as they cherish and celebrate a life well lived. May God's love continue to surround them with strength, comfort, and peace. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
