The field stands as a reminder that creation is always being restored. The seasons may change, storms may pass, and the earth may endure times of darkness, but life returns again. New blossoms rise, fresh colors appear, and the land awakens with hope.

In the distance, the trees stand strong beneath the open sky. A symbol of endurance and faith. The sunlight touches the meadow gently, showing that transformation often happens quietly, one moment at a time.

This painting reflects the promise that nothing is beyond restoration. Like the field renewed by the warmth of the sun, hearts can be healed, dreams can be revived, and broken places can become beautiful again.

“He Makes All Things New” is a celebration of hope. The reminder that every ending can become a beginning, and through His grace, even the forgotten places can bloom once more.

Today’s Abstract Florals session was super fun! Each participant had her own style and pace, which made every piece so unique. What made the afternoon extra special was being serenaded by the lovely Ivee, and having my regular student, Dra. Ducle, drop by to visit. Thank you to these wonderful ladies for making today’s workshop such a joyful one! 🥰♥️

Blood Moon

The first layer of this painting was a demo from my abstract workshop. As I was working on it today, this piece emerged from reflecting on the state of our world today. The deep reds and layered textures echo the unrest and conflicts unfolding across nations. The sweeping stripes represent countries and borders—lines we draw that often separate us more than they unite us.

At the center, a burst of white breaks through the chaos. For me, it represents hope—the goodness that still exists in humanity and the mercy of God that continues to shine even when the world feels dark.

The idea of the blood moon appears in the Bible as a sign in the heavens, a moment that calls humanity to pause and reflect. This painting is my meditation on that moment—when the world feels heavy with conflict, yet light still insists on being seen.

Even beneath a blood moon, hope still rises.
