GABRIEL ALLAN PAGUIRIGAN is a pianist, musical director, and teacher. He is a graduate of the Philippine High School for the Arts and the University of the Philippines College of Music. During his student days, he was a recipient of awards and scholarships such as the Makiling Academic and Research Institute for the Arts (MARIA) Scholarship, UP College of Music Extension Program Scholarship, and the Dean’s Medal for Outstanding Performance. His past teachers include Luci A. Magalit, Nita A. Quinto, Augusto Espino, Hannah Valdez-Sariego, Jet Gemora-Girn, and Aimee Mina-De la Cruz.

Mr. Paguirigan has been twice the First Prize winner of the National Music Competitions for Young Artists Piano Competition - in 2011 (Junior Category) and in 2015 (Senior Category). He has also won top prizes in other local competitions sponsored by the Piano Teachers’ Guild of the Philippines Foundation Inc., the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lyric Piano & Organ Corporation, the Henrietta Sydeco-Tayengco Limjoco Piano Foundation, and the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music.

He is a sought-after collaborating artist, having worked with the Philippines’ best singers and instrumentalists. He is the musical director of Pasipo, a small vocal ensemble based in the Philippines which aims to explore the vast vocal repertoire. As a concert pianist, he has been the featured soloist of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, the Manila Symphony Orchestra, and the Cardona Ocho Symphonic Band in several concerts. He has also given solo recitals in the most prestigious venues all over the Philippines. In his relentless pursuit to further hone his craft, Mr. Paguirigan has taken master classes with prominent artists such as Carmencita Sipin-Aspiras, Jovianney Emmanuel Cruz, Cecile Licad, Albert Tiu, Victor Asuncion, Reynaldo Reyes, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Chi-Ying Hung, Chao-Han Liao, Chinchuan Chang, Roberta Rust, Elodie Vignon, Adam Kent, Andreas Henkel, Chiara Cipelli, Miquel Esterlich, among many others.

Mr. Paguirigan enjoys teaching piano during his spare time, sharing to learners of various levels and age the joy of making music.

JOSE MARIE "JM" ESERJOSE began his musical studies at the age of thirteen.

As a soloist, he was awarded 2nd Prize at the 2021 National Music Competitions for Young Artists Senior Violin Category. At age 19, he had his solo debut playing Eduard Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Joshua Dos Santos. He also appeared as a soloist with the Ring of Fire Chamber Orchestra and at the International Bamboo Organ Festival.

He received coaching and masterclasses with leading musicians such as Stefan Jackiw, Igor Yuzefovich, Thanos Adamopoulos, Pacalin Pavaci, Timothy Peters, Gaukhar Murzabekhova, and Zachary Carretin.

His recent chamber music festival includes the Academy Festival in Hong Kong, where he was selected to be part of the UST String Quartet to perform in a concert, and masterclasses with Ida Kavafian and Steven Tenenbom at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts.

As an orchestral musician, JM was the principal second violin of the 2023 Asian Youth Orchestra for its European and Asian tour, which included performances at the Young Euro Classic in Berlin Konzerthaus, Mossel Festival in Germany, and concerts in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Japan. He is also the former concertmaster of the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth. He was invited to be the guest principal second violin of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra for its season concert and production of Puccini’s Turandot Opera. JM has also played as a guest violinist with various orchestras, including the ABS CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, Manila Symphony Orchestra, Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, and Sun Symphony Orchestra in Vietnam. Currently, he is an active member of the Ring of Fire Chamber Orchestra and the Manila Baroque Ensemble.

JM completed his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music with a full scholarship from the Original Pilipino Performing Arts (OPPA) Foundation. During the course of his musical training, JM’s teachers have included Noel Martin, Christian Tan, Juan Luis Muñoz, Virna Valerio, and Rhoda Tacuboy. JM received a scholarship from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and will pursue his graduate studies this Fall of 2024 to study with Prof. Kyung Sun Lee.
