Gloria Tabucanon, an Education graduate from the University of the Philippines Diliman. The choir is the official choral group of Ugnayan St. Joseph the Worker from the Mother of the Redeemer Parish - Deparo, Caloocan City. Victor Ventus became the new choirmaster in 2002 and was composed of mixed voices back then. In 2005, CHC became an all-male choir and was renamed after its patron saint as Kor
o de San Jose, the first and only all-male choir in the parish. Mark Westvent Abesia from the UP College of Music started to assist in teaching the members vocal parts and harmony. Koro de San Jose or KSJ already performed a few times for Bishop Tobias of the Diocese of Novaliches and was invited to perform in schools like La Consolacion College and Our Lady of Fatima University. The group joined the 1st Christ the King Parish Choral Festival entitled "Amare et Servire Dominum", a local concert for choirs back in 2010. In September 2012 the group performed for Coro Et Al World Music Festival held at the Philamlife Auditorium Manila. The group also performed for Belenistas de Ortigas Christmas Choral Festival in December 2012. In January 2013 Koro de San Jose was invited in Paref Rosehill School Antipolo to celebrate the Dedication of the Altar and Blessing of the Chapel and to sing for the School’s Baccalaureate Mass. In March 2013, Koro de San Jose performed in University of Asia and the Pacific for the National Arts Month Choral Festival together with 6 other choirs from different parts of Metro Manila. KSJ was also one of the choirs who performed for the farewell concert of former Parish Priest Melchor Balingao entitled "Isang Gabi ng Pasasalamat" held at Mother of the Redeemer Parish. The group is now under its new conductor Sir Jefrey Cagadas. Over the past years, Koro de San Jose continues with its mission of serving God and the Church by sharing its time and talent in spreading God's great love through music.
