Tales of the Manuvu Returns to the Stage!

This groundbreaking rock-opera ballet by National Artist for Dance Alice Reyes, returns in a powerful new restaging.

Inspired by E. Arsenio Manuel’s folk tales of the Manobo tribe, this landmark work first transformed dance theater in the Philippines with its epic storytelling in 1977 and continues to resonate today.

Following its UP performances on February 27 and 28, made possible by a commissioned creative grant by UP President Angelo Jimenez, the production will come to the Proscenium Theater in Rockwell, Makati for a strictly limited run on March 28 and 29.

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind celebration of Filipino culture, tradition, and artistic legacy brought to life on stage.

Patuloy ang pag-awit para sa kababaihan at kabataan! 💗

Noong ika-21 ng Marso, nakiisa ang UP Concert Chorus sa pagsusulong ng karapatan ng kababaihan at kabataan sa Sunflower Walk • Run • Parade. Sa pamamagitan ng musika, inialay ng Korus ang aming tinig sa isang adhikaing nagbibigay-lakas, nagbubuklod, at nananawagan ng sama-samang pagkilos.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat kina UPCCAA President Emerita, Atty. Dot Gancayco, at UPCCAA President, Dr. Melfred Hernandez, sa paanyaya at sa patuloy na pagbubukas ng mga espasyong pinagtatagpo ang sining at adbokasiya! 🌻

Nitong ika-27 at 28 ng Pebrero, naging kaisa ang UP Concert Chorus ng Alice Reyes Dance Philippines (ARDP) at iba pang mga artista sa muling pagsasadula ng Tales of the Manuvu sa entablado ng University Theater, UP Diliman. Isang malaking karangalan ang maging bahagi ng legasiyang hatid ng pagtatanghal na ito.

A gem of a night with Josh Groban!✨️

The UP Concert Chorus had the incredible honor of performing for Josh Groban's GEMS World Tour 2026 at the SM MOA Arena last night. Singing iconic hits like "You Raise Me Up", "Skyfall", and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" with one of the most iconic voices of our time truly raised us up.

We're beyond grateful for this one-of-a-kind opportunity and for this music that brought us all together!
