Improv Art Gallery presents What Time Cannot Keep, a solo exhibition by Vanessa Schiavone. Opening on June 13, 2026, 4:00–8:00 PM

Drawing from the complexities of human experience, Schiavone's paintings explore the emotions that shape our lives—love, loss, longing, resilience, and transformation. Through theatrical compositions and deeply personal narratives, her works reflect on the invisible threads that connect us all.

Moving through shifting emotional landscapes, the exhibition considers what fades, what remains, and the beauty found in the spaces between. Like water, clouds, and light, we are never fixed—we are always becoming.

Through block printing, embroidery, and salvaged fabrics, Lilo creates textile icons that blur the line between the sacred and the profane. Drawing from traditions of women's labor and craft, her works reclaim softness as strength, transforming ornament into armor.

Holy and human, devotional and contemporary, Rebel Hearts is a celebration of faith, identity, and resilience in a fragmented world.
