“Without seeing you we love you.
Without touching you we embrace.
Without knowing you we follow.
Without seeing you we believe.”

May we always be reminded that the Risen Christ meets us with peace, inviting us to believe even when we cannot see. Like Thomas, we are called to trust in His mercy and become witnesses of His love in our lives.

The San Lorenzo Ruiz Choir together with the Xavier Choir visited the Sto Nino de Maligaya Shrine for the Way of the Cross. We pray the Way of the Cross to remember and reflect on Jesus’ suffering and death, recognizing His sacrifice for humanity. May this devotion help us all to strengthen and revisit our faith.

🎶𝓢𝓛𝓡𝓒 𝓑𝓮𝔂𝓸𝓷𝓭🎶

Members of the San Lorenzo Ruiz Choir joined the 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 in the recently celebrated 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗹-𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱.

Representing the choir were Marven (Bass), Ralp (Tenor), Stephanie (Alto), and Blas (Soprano). They were accompanied by instrumentalists Mikee, Cris, and Rycalyn on violin, and Jelly on flute. The group also sang alongside members of other parish choirs, including those from Saint Francis Xavier Parish.

The Chrism Mass, traditionally celebrated on the morning of Holy Thursday, gathers the bishop and diocesan priests at the cathedral. During this liturgy, the bishop blesses the sacred oils used in the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders. It is also a solemn occasion for priests to renew their promises of service to the bishop and to Jesus Christ.

More than a ritual, the Chrism Mass is a profound expression of unity within the Church. It strengthens the bond among parishes, bringing together the faithful under the guidance of their local shepherd.

𝑷𝒂𝒍𝒎 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 - 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝! 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝!

On this sacred tradition of Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy week. We commemorate the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ to Jerusalem. The passion drama shows how crowd quickly shifted from shouting Hosanna to the humble King into Crucify Him!

The unfolding drama of passion invites us who and where we are as Jesus, a humble King, passes by the donkey. Are we one of the crowds shouting His name? Are we like Judas who betrayed? Are we like Peter who denied Him? Are we like Pilate when judging the condemning others? Or are we like Simon or Veronica who helped Christ in time of great need?

May we immerse our minds and hearts into contemplation as we commemorate the Passion leading to the school of love, the Cross!

May the Cross of Christ lead us always to repentance and conversion. May we no longer perpetuate the crucifixion of Christ as we continue to delight our hearts and minds to vices and sins, as St. Francis of Assisi warns us. Above all may we continue to dwell into the abyss of God's unfathomable love and mercy

𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑳𝒆𝒏𝒕 (𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔)

Though we may live in darkness, blinded by sin, pride, or doubt, Christ comes as the light who restores our sight and reveals God’s presence in our lives. Like the blind man, we are called not only to see but to believe, allowing His grace to transform us and lead us into true spiritual vision.
