Beethoven originally dedicated his Third Symphony, the โ€œEroica,โ€ to Napoleon Bonaparte, whom he admired as a champion of Enlightenment ideals. However, when Napoleon crowned himself emperor, Beethoven removed the dedication and renamed the work Sinfonia Eroica (โ€œHeroic Symphonyโ€). Today, it remains one of the most influential symphonies in music history.

Catch the perform this monumental work at Heroic Symphony on October 16, 2026 at the UP Theater.

Join the for ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ฆ๐˜†๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜†, an evening of music that explores courage, destiny, national pride, and triumph. Led by conductor Rodney Ambat, the orchestra presents powerful works that tell stories of struggle, resilience, and victory.

From the dramatic force of Verdi's ๐˜“๐˜ข ๐˜๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ป๐˜ข ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ ๐˜‹๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ ๐˜–๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ and the cinematic grandeur of Rosendo Santos Jr.'s ๐˜“๐˜ข๐˜ฑ๐˜ถ-๐˜“๐˜ข๐˜ฑ๐˜ถ ๐˜š๐˜บ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ช๐˜ค ๐˜—๐˜ฐ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ, to Arutiunian's dazzling ๐˜›๐˜ณ๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฆ๐˜ต ๐˜Š๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ featuring Jon Roi Mendones, the program culminates in Beethoven's revolutionary ๐˜š๐˜บ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜บ ๐˜•๐˜ฐ. 3, "๐˜Œ๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ข" and Moncayo's vibrant ๐˜๐˜ถ๐˜ข๐˜ฑ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜จ๐˜ฐ.

Experience music that faces fate head-on and transforms adversity into celebration. From the heroism of our own shores to Beethoven's vision of greatness, every note reflects the enduring power of the human spirit.
