Rafael "Paeng" Villareal Nepomuceno is a legendary Filipino bowler, coach, and educator widely recognized as the Greatest International Bowler of All Time. Born on January 30, 1957, in Quezon City, Philippines, he achieved monumental success in ten-pin bowling, winning six World Bowling Championships and four Bowling World Cup titles across three decades (1970s, 1980s, and 1990s). He remains an active competitor and international sports ambassador, and he is the only Asian to hold a United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Gold Coach certification.
Nepomuceno's unparalleled career includes several Guinness World Records, including four Bowling World Cup titles and more than 137 tournament wins. He is the only bowler to win the IOC President's Trophy (1999), was named the International Bowling Athlete of the Millennium, and is enshrined in the World Bowling Hall of Fame. In 2021, he received a commemorative stamp from PHLPost.
