"I want to stop loving you, but what if you start singing the songs I love? What if you actually like my poems? What if our eyes actually speak the same language? Would you be okay with that?
I want to stop loving you, but what if your hands fit perfectly onto mine? What if your presence is as warm as summer? What if I spend the rest of my life asking stupid "what ifs" just because I refuse to see you outside of rose-tinted glasses? Would you be okay with that?
And when I finally see you all grown up after all these years, what if my heart beats the same as it did seven years ago? Would you be okay with that?
I want to stop loving you, but what if I can't? What if my love remains even after the years pass me by? What if my art is filled with nothing but you? What if you are my art? I hope you're okay with that."
