Here are the purposes why Jesus will rapture the Church.

1. To fulfill Jesus' promise that He will return. John 14:1-3
2. To stand before Him in the judgment seat of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:10
3. To receive our reward. 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20
4. To marry us. Revelation 19:7-9
5. To deliver us from the coming wrath, the great tribulation period. Revelation 3:10
6. So we can return with Jesus Christ after the great tribulation period to rule and reign with Him as He establish His kingdom for a thousand year reign. Matthew 24:29-31; Jude 1:14-15
