Mami at Bring the House Down, 2017
Mami Lems was there from the very beginning. Long before many believed in what we were trying to do, she already did. She showed up, shared her energy, and reminded us that community is built by the people who choose to be present.
This footage was taken during one of our very first events, a memory we’ll always hold close.
Thank you, Mami, for believing in us, in House, and in the whole dance community. This is how we’ll always remember you: always in your element, dancing with each and every one.
