How’s wearing your mask?
​As humans, ginagamit naman talaga natin ang psychological mechanism na tinatawag na "Persona" ito 'yung social mask na tumutulong sa atin sa daily life para makasabay sa trabaho at lipunan. Pero nagiging mapanganib ito kapag nahulog na tayo sa "identity foreclosure," kung saan sobrang nasanay na tayong magkunwari hanggang sa tuluyan nating madistort ang ating totoong sarili. When we wear a mask for too long na hindi naman para sa survival kundi para lang protektahan ang ating pride, unti-unti nitong sinisira ang mental health natin at ang tiwala ng mga tao sa paligid natin. Bilang mga Kristiyano, hindi natin pwedeng gawing comfort zone ang pagpe-perform o pagpapakitang-tao; God calls us to walk in the light of truth dahil ang pekeng buhay ay humaharang sa totoong paglago ng ating pananampalataya. Let’s awaken from the comfort of pretending and have the courage na magpakatotoo sa harap ng Diyos at sa kapwa.
